Money, Quotes and the $65 Off

Pricing questions, sorted before you pick up the phone.

How does your pricing work for drain jobs?

A fixed price is worked out from what the camera shows, and you sign off on it before anyone starts. There's no clock running in the background.

Can the price change once you start?

It shouldn't, and it won't without talking to you first. If something unrelated turns up mid-job, that gets flagged and priced separately before we touch it. You always get the choice to say no.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

There isn't one. Coming out to look at the problem costs nothing. You only pay once we're actually fixing it.

How do I pay?

Card or transfer, settled once the job's finished and inspected. The amount matches what was agreed at the start, down to the dollar.

Licensed, Insured and Guaranteed

The paperwork side of things, in plain English.

Who actually turns up?

One of our own, never a stranger pulled in for the day. The crew includes someone who specialises specifically in drains and sewer lines, plus a maintenance-plumbing specialist for anything alongside it.

What does the lifetime labour warranty cover?

The work itself, indefinitely. Should a repair fail down the track, we're back out to sort it without another bill landing.

How experienced are you with drains?

15+ years' experience, mostly spent under older Sydney housing stock similar to what's common through Croydon.

Is your work guaranteed?

Quality workmanship guaranteed on every visit. Nothing gets called finished until it's actually been tested.

How Fast We Get to You

Response times and how a booking actually runs.

What counts as a drain emergency?

Sewage rising back through a fixture, water spreading near the foundations, or a toilet that flat-out refuses to clear all warrant an immediate call. A slow sink can usually wait for a scheduled visit. Stop running water into that drain until we arrive if it's a genuine backup.

Are you really open 24 hours?

Genuinely, yes. Ring at 3am and an actual person on our team answers, not a recording.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

We do. A blocked drain has no interest in what day it is, so neither do we.

What happens after I call?

You describe what's happening, we lock in a time, and once we're on-site we explain exactly what the camera finds before touching anything.

Local Answers for Croydon

The Croydon-specific questions worth knowing before we arrive.

Why do tree roots block so many Croydon drains?

The Malvern Hill Estate was laid out with generous street trees and gardens, and those roots have had a century to work their way into the earthenware drains beneath. It's the single most common call-out we get across this postcode.

Why do older Croydon homes keep getting blockages?

Federation-era terraces and bungalows here were plumbed with clay pipework, and that material shifts and cracks once the shale ground beneath it moves. Once a joint opens, roots and debris find their way in fast. Autumn leaf fall from the same street trees adds to it, choking gutters and gully traps just as roots are doing the same underground.

How local are you, really?

This suburb is a fixture on our weekly schedule, not a one-off trip. We know the older streets before we've parked the van, from the station precinct through to the quieter blocks near Croydon Public School.

What suburbs do you service?

Beyond Croydon, we're regularly working in Burwood, Ashfield, Enfield, Summer Hill and Concord. Unsure if your street falls inside that patch? A quick call settles it.
